EdmoLift has started a cooperation with the Dutch company Movexx. Movexx is one of the world market leaders within their industry and from the beginning of this year, EdmoLift is the sole distributor for their popular electric tugs on the Nordic market.

”We are proud of the expressed trust and very satisfied to be able to offer this opportunity to our distributors. Movexx is at the forefront regarding innovation, design and user-friendliness and we have enormous faith in their products,” says Mikael Fernlund, Sales Manager for the Nordic Countries at EdmoLift.

Electric tugs have become more and more important since more and more companies decide to handle their materials on trolleys. So called tugger trains or taxi solutions have also started to replace transporting goods with forklifts.

“The handling of pallets with forklifts has been standard for a long time, but many companies want to change this routine since it is inefficient and bears a high risk of accidents,” says Mikael Fernlund.

With electric tugs, heavy weights can be transported easily and safely in an ergonomic manner. Movexx is a fast-growing manufacturer with an already existing client base in Sweden, Mikael Fernlund is convinced that the cooperation has a high potential for growth for both parties.

Through our network of distributors, we can develop the sales of electric tugs further and for EdmoLift, it is a perfect addition to our product range. We are expanding our range and are now able to offer solutions for all types of material handling.

Movexx is a Dutch family business that has grown considerably since their start in 2006. The ongoing cooperation implies that EdmoLift is now the sole distributor for the entire Nordic market. The electric tugs will be sold under the name Movexx by EdmoLift and as a start, the focus will be on seven pedestrian models, i.e. tugs that are steered by a walking operator. The products are proven to be user-friendly and very versatile because they can both pull and push the load. Possible customers are companies in the producing, food and pharma industry, but even hospitals, warehouses and distribution centers.

”There are basically no limits. The trend of using trolleys becomes more and more significant in almost all trades that deal with some kind of material handling,” says Mikael Fernlund.
