CEO Interview: "We want to grow in Games and Edtech"
Wicket Gaming AB (publ) today released an interview with the company's CEO Eric de Basso, who presents the envisioned company structure through the acquisition of the Wegesrand group and the company's future prospects.
Through the acquisition of Wegesrand, Wicket Gaming will broaden the portfolio within the edtech and media verticals. This gives the company a more diversified product portfolio while the edtech leg contributes with important knowledge transfer, the company´s CEO, Eric de Basso, says in the interview. He also presents the future company structure after the merger with the German gaming and media group.
With the new company structure, Wicket Gaming will have a strong presence in Germany and have more than 25 employees with an estimated turnover of SEK 25 million in 2022. Wicket Gaming will in the future increase its focus on the games and edtech segments (serious games and playful learning).
The group is in a strong organic growth phase within the edtech segment, and through company acquisitions in games and edtech, growth is expected to increase further. In the near future, Wicket Gaming plans to expand its presence on the European continent.

"Through this new structure, Wicket Gaming gets a good distribution of risk, stable income can now be strengthened with revenue streams from self-produced games such as Cricket Manager Pro."
