Wicket Gaming AB ("Wicket Gaming" or "the Company") begins the marketing of Cricket Manager Pro 2022 in social media channels. This is initially done with the world-famous cricketer Jonathan Neil “Jonty” Rhodes.

Jonty Rhodes is a world-renowned cricketer and is considered one of the best fielders (the player who is supposed to limit the number of runs that the striker scores and/or to get a batter out) through the ages and was the first South African cricketer to take 100 ODI catches.* Rhodes has an extensive network in cricket and with his approximately 1 million followers on social media channels, he is launching the marketing of the game Cricket Manager Pro 2022 on social media.

In a comment, Wicket Gaming's CEO Eric de Basso says:

“We see this as the start of our social media marketing. Jonty Rhodes shows the way and now we are offered the opportunity to intensify the work with the optimization of marketing campaigns on Social Media. In this way, we can increase efficiency when our three main ambassadors, with over 100 million followers, are activated in order to strongly expose our product.”

Jonty Rhodes comments further:

“This latest development with my new role at Wicket Gaming AB, makes another perfect fit with me and the game of cricket I love so much. Online games are already a massive part of our existence, and my fascination with Cricket Manager Pro 2022 will allow me to hopefully connect with cricket fans around the world, in a whole new way. Driving promotion of the game through social media makes complete sense, as the International Cricket Council, the sport’s governing body, has almost 80million followers, on all social media platforms, which is nearly double that of FIFA.”

*ODI stands for One Day International or one-day match. One-day matches are usually played in 50 overs each for both teams or until one team has won (an over consists of six legal deliveries bowled from one end of a cricket pitch to the player batting at the other end).
