Effnet Opens Northern California Office Will Support Sales to Silicon Valley Networking Manufacturers Effnet, a Swedish developer of high performance core networking technology, announced today the opening of a new office in Mountain View, California. The new office will house sales and technical support staff dedicated to servicing Effnet's networking customers. Effnet's technology drastically improves the efficiency of IP packet operations such as routing table lookups and packet filtering and forwarding. The company is working with networking equipment and communications chip vendors to help reduce costs, improve efficiency, increase data throughput, and solve bottlenecks inherent in common functions such as routing and firewall filtering. The new office will be headed by Effnet Inc. President Michael Säw, and will include technical personnel who have recently relocated from Sweden. "With the addition of this office we now have a presence in the major centers for communications technology on both the East and West coasts," said Mr Säw. "This continues to increase our commitment to the US market. My objective will be to duplicate the success we have achieved in Europe, by introducing products and programs that are geared to meet the needs of today's IP-based network applications."
