Management Change at Effnet AB Stockholm, 4 July 2000 - Tony Svensson, newly appointed President & CEO of Effnet Group AB, today announced that Roger Undhagen, the CEO of the Swedish subsidiary Effnet AB, has resigned. "Roger has done an excellent job in building a Swedish organization, both in the marketing & sales areas, as well as in development. We are sorry to see him leave and wish him the best of luck in his new endeavors," said Tony Svensson. About Effnet Group AB Effnet's mission is to develop and market multifunction networking products that deliver outstanding performance at affordable prices. Besides offering stand-alone solutions, Effnet aims to be the leader in the new "server-centric" market that is now emerging, which adds key features to industry-standard servers. Effnet Group AB, consisting of the two operating units Effnet AB and Effnet, Inc., was established in the spring of 1997 with the goal of commercializing research carried out at Luleå University of Technology in Sweden. Research engineers had discovered a way to significantly improve the speed of router table look-ups, and these results are the foundation of the patented Effnet Algorithms. The company's technology has been field tested and proven via a line of router and firewall products in Europe. These award-winning products have received high praise from the networking community. In mid-1999, Effnet's technology demonstrated superior firewall performance during testing at KeyLabs, the leading independent lab specializing in hardware and software testing in a networked environment. Today Effnet Group AB is a growing company with 80+ employees, with offices in Luleå and Stockholm in Sweden, as well as Boston and Mountain View in the United States. The company combines its roots in research and academia with professional management and outstanding business skills.
