Northe partners with Elbilsvaruhuset for home charging
Northe and Elbilsvaruhuset have entered into a new partnership that strengthens Northe's established home charging installation and management solution in Sweden. The solution combines charger installation through Elbilsvaruhuset with automatic reimbursement of home charging costs through Northe's platform, making it even easier for employers to offer home charging as a seamless and administratively simple employee benefit. The partnership also makes the overall offering more competitive.
Through the partnership, companies using Northe can offer employees a complete home charging solution where the charger is installed at home, connected to Northe's platform, and ready for use with automatic reimbursement of charging costs from day one.
Together, the companies now enable a complete charging solution for corporate customers through leading leasing and fieet providers such as Ayvens, NF Fleet, Autolease DNB Finans, Santander Leasing, Swedbank AutoPlan, Carsmart and other major vehicle leasing companies. Home charging can be included as an integrated part of the electric vehicle delivery process, making the transition to electric mobility significantly smoother for both businesses and drivers.
Through Northe's platform, employers can reimburse employees for home charging without expense claims or manual administration. Reimbursement can be based either on a fixed price per kWh or on dynamic electricity prices in real time. According to Northe, home charging is on average up to 50% less expensive than public charging, creating cost benefits for both employers and drivers.
Elbilsvaruhuset will be responsible for installing compatible chargers from leading manufacturers. The chargers are prepared for integration with Northe's platform, and a simple setup process enables end users to start charging quickly.
The partnership has successfully completed a pilot phase and is now available to Northe's partners across Sweden.
