Electrolux joins global climate business network CLC
Electrolux today joins the global climate business network CLC (Climate Leadership Coalition). As a global sustainability leader, Electrolux is the first industrial Swedish company to join 82 organizational members contributing to the development of business-driven solutions for climate change.
Electrolux has far-reaching ambitions to reduce its climate impact, ranging from a science-based target to reduce CO2 emissions from products with 25% by 2025, to becoming fully climate neutral in our operations by 2030.
“Electrolux was one of the 100 first companies in the world to establish approved Science Based Targets, and from this year our overall sustainability framework is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We believe addressing climate change remains one of the most urgent challenges for society. Therefore we look forward to widen the Nordic scope in the CLC network on both top management and expert levels”, says Jonas Samuelson, CEO Electrolux.
