Designed by experts, inspired by you!

The Electrolux Line 5000 range has been shaped with contributions from users and experts in the professional laundry field all over the world, whose insights and know-how helped drive improvements in product mechanics, ergonomics and design.

Visitors to our stand will be able to see for themselves how our close association with professionals has helped shape our design, ensuring it matches real user needs,” says Esther Staskiewicz, head of marketing at Electrolux Professional (Business Unit Laundry Systems). “We have developed innovations that ensure the Line 5000 range offers the lowest cost per wash, an unrivalled reliability, durability and flexibility to meet customer needs. This generation of built-to-last equipment will not only provide best linen quality and control but will make work life easier and deliver savings over time.”

Line 5000 offers particular advantages for customers of coin-operated laundrettes, looking for quick access and easy-to-use machines, as well as owners seeking lower running costs while running higher volumes. It includes intelligent features and unique extras like the Automatic Saving System and Eco Power cost cutters; the Speed Soak short cycle times; and an intuitive, multi-language control panel.

Another feature that will be of particular interest to self-service laundry visitors at the Clean Show will be the Text ManagementTM Information System. It allows customers to track machine availability on their mobile phone so they can run errands while getting updates on their laundry status. A text message will be sent when the laundry cycle is complete. The equipment also features a newly-designed, extra large coin box, as well as features to ensure faster maintenance like an easy-to-clean lint screen.

Showcasing the ergonomic design of the Evolution Barrier Range

Electrolux will be presenting the Evolution Barrier Range which is especially designed for the care and on-premise laundry sectors. Built to maximise ergonomics, performance, safety and labour effectiveness, the Evolution range represents a new era of hygiene with guaranteed linen safety and ultimate control of laundry management. One of its many features that save users’ time and reduces strain is the Automatic Inner Drum Positioning, which ensures that before opening the door, the inner drum is always in correct place for loading or unloading.

New “pay only what you use” PLUS system utility service!

PLUS – the Professional Laundry Utility Service system for on-premises laundry operations will be introduced at the Clean 2013. It is especially suitable for visitors from the hotel, restaurant and hospital sectors as it ensures that customers receive the highest quality of laundry processing with no capital investment in equipment. The PLUS system not only provides the equipment but also the software as well as unlimited parts and servicing.

Long lasting, economical and flexible benefits

Line 5000 offers real benefits and improvements in three crucial areas for professional clients: durability, enhanced economics and flexibility.

  • Durability: Line 5000 washers and dryers are built to last longer. With its Power Balance for washer extractors, Electrolux Professional’s revolutionary unbalance detection system ensures Line 5000 washers have optimum stability. This means quieter, faster operations, better water extraction and lower drying costs.
  • Enhanced savings: Line 5000’s unique, efficiency means using less water and energy for wash and dry cycles. But while Line 5000 helps lower operational costs and cuts the environmental footprint, it has not compromised on quality. The Automatic Saving System for washers adjusts the water level to the weight of the laundry, meaning up to 50% in water savings for half load, as well as energy savings due to less water used to heat. The Eco Power for dryer measures when garments are dry and automatically turns the heat down to the cool-down temperature, realising up to 15% in energy savings. The Smart Dosing System is an easy-to-use, automatic calculation of the appropriate detergent amount, meaning that the laundry has the highest quality results while still protecting your skin during usage. Ideally combined with Automatic Saving System, Smart Dosing System can mean 50% savings in running costs.
  • Maximum flexibility: Ergonomics, performance, safety and labour effectiveness are key factors in Electrolux designs. Line 5000’s user-friendly Compass Pro® interfaces are intuitive, intelligent as well as easy to use, and available in 18 languages. Compass Pro® is the intelligence inside Line 5000 that enables Electrolux to provide customised solutions for every kind of laundry business, offering up to 55 programs, of which 15 are programmable. The Compass Pro® interface also features a USB port to facilitate installation of the latest software updates.
