Electrolux Professional AB and the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) have signed a seven-year EUR 60m sustainability-related loan agreement related to the reduction of CO2 emissions, water consumption and the use of HFC gases.

NIB and Electrolux Professional have agreed on three key performance indicators (KPIs) to be achieved by the end of 2025. The KPIs are core to Electrolux Professional´s sustainability strategy and addresses climate targets related to:

  • reduction of CO2 emissions from operations
  • reduction of water by increasing water consumption efficiency in products
  • decrease of HFC gases in products

“Sustainability is a key part of our strategy, culture and day-to day operations. This sustainability-linked loan confirms that our sustainability targets and strategy are relevant, ambitious and credible”, says Alberto Zanata, CEO of Electrolux Professional.

Electrolux Professional’s main environmental impact occurs during the product-use phase of energy, water and detergents, which is why developing new energy-efficient products with low water consumption is a strategic priority.
