Elekta appoints Ian Alexander Executive Vice President Region Europe, Africa, Latin America and Middle East

Ian Alexander has been appointed Executive Vice President of Elekta’s Region Europe, Africa, Latin America and Middle East.

Stockholm, Sweden, August 1, 2012

Effective September 1, 2012, Ian Alexander will rejoin Elekta’s Executive Management as EVP of Region Europe and AFLAME. Ian is currently Vice President and General Manager of Europe at Hologic. Prior to joining Hologic, he held several executive management positions at Elekta, including Marketing & Business Development, COO and Executive Vice President, Region Asia Pacific. Ian has also held other senior regional management positions, running the European Region at Bayer Diagnostics, and the Asia Pacific Region while at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics.
