Elekta receives orders valued at SEK 80M for radiotherapy equipment for treatment of cancer in France and Australia Elekta has signed agreements to deliver radiotherapy equipment for treatment of cancer to a number of leading cancer clinics in France and Australia. The deliveries are planned for this and the next fiscal year and the accumulated order value is approximately SEK 80M. The order in Australia has been received from Queensland Health Department and the equipment will be installed at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. "This order is the second part of an agreement for a total of seven systems from Queensland Health", says Brendan Vahey, Asia Pacific Sales and Marketing Manager at Elekta. "The second order was placed as a result of the satisfactory installation and performance of the units to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and in Townsville", continues Brendan Vahey.
