Elekta’s Board member Vera Kallmeyer has passed away

Vera Kallmeyer, member of Elekta’s Board of Directors, has passed away after a longer time of disease.

- Vera Kallmeyer was a highly appreciated board member with a comprehensive medical knowledge and business experience. Our thoughts are with Vera’s family, said Elekta’s President and CEO Tomas Puusepp.

Vera Kallmeyer M.D. , Ph.D. was the founding partner of the investment and consulting firm Equity4Health LLC and a consulting professor at the Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford University School of Medicine.

- Vera Kallmeyer has been a member of Elekta’s Board since 2008. She shared the Board’s strong commitment for Elekta and during these years she has given valuable contributions to a successful work in the Board, said Elekta’s Chairman of the Board Akbar Seddigh.
