Ioannis Panagiotelis appointed as Chief Marketing and Sales Officer
STOCKHOLM, August 23, 2017 – Elekta (EKTA-B.ST) has appointed Ioannis Panagiotelis as Chief Marketing and Sales Officer (CMSO) with immediate effect following the decision by Chief Commercial Officer, Ian Alexander, to resign.
All Elekta markets will report to the CMSO except China and North America who will report directly to the CEO. Panagiotelis, who joined Elekta earlier this calendar year, will continue to lead Elekta’s global marketing efforts.
Elekta President and CEO, Richard Hausmann, says: “Ioannis is a very talented executive who will speed up the implementation of measures to further our market growth, with special attention to customer satisfaction.”
