Element Mobile and the Rafters to Sponsor Josh Thompson for Benefit Concert
Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., (July 1, 2013) – Element Mobile and the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters will host national country star, Josh Thompson, at Witter Field for a concert to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the Wisconsin Rapids Area.
This is the second year Element Mobile and the Rafters have partnered to host a concert at the ballpark. Last year’s act, regional band Tuscan Road, raised over $3,000 to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the Wisconsin Rapids Area.
“We are excited about bringing Josh Thompson to perform in Wisconsin Rapids,” said Robert Wefel, executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of the Wisconsin Rapids Area. “We’re very thankful for great partners like Element Mobile and the Rafter’s organization who are supporting the event again this year. They are great community partners who invest in the kids we serve and we appreciate their support to make this event a success.”
Solarus, another local company, will sponsor Thompson’s opening act, a country band from Wisconsin Rapids called Raised Reckless.
“What a great opportunity they’ll have to open for a national artist like Josh Thompson,” said Wefel. “The concert will be a fun summer activity for the community to enjoy. All ticket proceeds will go to the Boys & Girls Club and we are honored to be a part of this event and appreciate the support from the community.”
General admission tickets are on sale now for $15. VIP tickets are also available for $100 per table of six and include a closer view of the stage, two complimentary drink tickets, a la carte food service and wait service. Additionally, premium seating in the Element Mobile Rat Trap is available for $50 a seat and includes all-you-can-eat-and-drink dining.
