Elisa is Microsoft's 2025 Azure Partner of the Year in Finland
In 2025, Elisa has signed a number of new Microsoft Azure agreements with its customers. In recognition of our deep expertise and strong growth in Azure, Microsoft has named Elisa Azure Partner of the Year 2025 in Finland.
The year 2025 has been a significant one for Elisa's Microsoft Azure business, which has grown markedly thanks to strategic customer wins, successful customer projects and extensive cloud migration packages. In recognition of the successful growth of the business, Microsoft has selected Elisa to receive the Azure Partner of the Year 2025 award in Finland.
"Elisa has become one of the pioneers in the Azure cloud service market, partly because of the close strategic cooperation that has grown between Microsoft and Elisa over several years", says Teemu Vidgren, Managing Director of Microsoft Finland.
"Elisa has implemented a number of Azure projects with its customers and Microsoft. These projects have provided customers with secure, modern services that make their everyday work smoother. Many of the projects have been implemented in industries that are highly important for the country, such as the health or financial sectors, which further emphasises the importance of this work for Finnish society", adds Tarja Jernström, Commercial Partner Lead at Microsoft.

In-depth Azure collaboration with Finnish organisations across multiple industries
Microsoft Azure is a leading public cloud platform that enables organisations of all kinds to maintain rich, cost-effective digital services and to develop and implement advanced AI solutions.
This year, the theme of the Microsoft Azure Partner of the Year Award in Finland is customer transformation. So far in 2025, Elisa has implemented significant Azure projects with Aktia, Digital Workforce, the Finnish Red Cross Blood Service, Sympa and Terveystalo, among others.
For example, in May, Elisa began a Microsoft Azure collaboration with Digital Workforce, a provider of business automation services and technology solutions. Elisa maintains Digital Workforce's IT and Azure environments, allowing the company to focus its resources on developing its own services. In addition, Elisa provides Digital Workforce with strategic insights into market trends and technological changes, for example.
In June, Terveystalo also selected Elisa as its comprehensive partner for the renewal and maintenance of IT and telecommunications services. Elisa's strong industry expertise and innovative, ready-to-use automation and AI solutions were important factors for Terveystalo in making the choice.
Microsoft has been granting its Partner of the Year awards for more than twenty years. The prizes are awarded annually in Finland and more than a hundred other countries.
