Changes in Elisa's Executive Board

ELISA STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 18 OCTOBER 2024 AT 8:35 AM  

Kati Nyman (52), M.Sc. (International Politics and Diplomacy), has been appointed Executive Vice President and Corporate Chief of Staff, and a member of the Corporate Executive Board. Nyman’s responsibilities include the Communications, Sustainability, Public Affairs, Legal, Corporate Security, Facilities and Assistant Services functions. She will start in her position on 1 March 2025. Nyman will report to the CEO, Topi Manner. 

Kati Nyman joins Elisa from Bayer AG in Germany, where she has most recently worked as the company's Vice President and Head of International Public Affairs.  

“It is a pleasure to welcome Kati to Elisa. Kati has significant experience in both domestic and international public relations, as well as in communications and sustainability. She will contribute greatly to Elisa’s strategy implementation”, says Topi Manner. 

Sami Ylikortes, Executive Vice President for Administration and a member of the Corporate Executive Board, will start as Vice President and Head of Public Affairs, and leave the Corporate Executive Board on 1 March 2025. Ylikortes will report to Kati Nyman. 

Eliisa Tapio, Executive Vice President for Communications and Sustainability and a member of the Corporate Executive Board, will leave the Corporate Executive Board on 1 March 2025 and will leave the company.
