Elisa and camLine Holding AG have signed and closed an agreement in which Elisa acquires 100 per cent of camLine GmbH shares.

German based camLine is a software solution provider for manufacturing industry with strong focus on manufacturing execution systems (MES), quality and operational excellence. The company has a global customer base, including semiconductor and electronics manufacturers, and medical devices.

The transaction is consistent with Elisa’s strategy to grow digital businesses internationally and it strengthens Elisa's industrial software business growth. Smart manufacturing is a fast-growing software market, where Elisa has been delivering Smart Factory solutions for several years. Elisa Smart Factory AI/ML capable solutions complement camLine's offering.

The acquisition price is EUR 60 million (EV EUR 51 million) in cash. The agreement includes also an additional acquisition price, max EUR 4 million, to be paid in 2021-2023 if agreed targets are achieved. This acquisition has no impact on Elisa’s medium term financial targets nor dividend payment capabilities.

camLine's IFRS adjusted revenue in 2019 was EUR 20.8 million and EBIT EUR 5.1 million. The company was founded in 1989 with headquarters in Petershausen, Germany, and it employs approximately 220 people in Germany, Romania, Hungary, Singapore, Malesia, Indonesia, Taiwan and USA.
