ELISA ADOPTS SINGLE UMBRELLA BRAND - ELISA BRAND

As part of the company’s extensive strategy process, Elisa
Corporation revamps its brand. The primary umbrella brand of the
whole group will be ELISA.  Customers will have access to all
their telecommunication needs in a single service point, under one
and the same brand. In addition, selected retail and product
brands may be used. The re-branding takes place forthwith.

Elisa Corporation has hitherto been visible to the customers
through various brand names. The brand name Elisa has mainly been
used in communication targeted at fixed network customers. The
Radiolinja brand has been used for mobile customers and the
regional brands have included Soon in the Pirkanmaa region and RPO
in the Riihimäki area. Now they will change to Elisa. The
previously announced estimates of financial development include
the impacts brought about the re-branding.

"We want to offer our customers the most convenient way to do
business with Elisa. Access to our services in one place and
having an explicit brand makes it easier for customers to do
business with us the way they prefer," says Elisa’s CEO Veli-Matti
Mattila.

"Elisa has been reforming its operational model and corporate
structure in a consistent manner. The aim is to build an
operational model for the unified Elisa. The adoption of the Elisa
brand as the group’s umbrella brand is a logical evolvement of the
reforms carried out," states CEO Mattila.
