ELISA CORPORATION AND SAUNALAHTI GROUP OYJ HAVE SETTLED THEIR
DISPUTE FOR DAMAGES CONCERNING TERMINATING FEES

Elisa Corporation and Saunalahti Group Oyj have settled their
dispute for damages concerning terminating fees. In compliance
with the agreement, Saunalahti Group has today withdrawn the
action for damages in the District Court.

In summer 2002, Elisa Corporation received a subpoena in which
Saunalahti Group Oyj made a claim against Elisa Corporation in the
Helsinki District Court for damages caused by competition
restriction and other alleged losses amounting to EUR 5.8 million
in total. In the opinion of Saunalahti Group Oyj, Elisa
Corporation discriminated Saunalahti Group in its operating area
with regard to the pricing of interconnection services between
telecom networks during the period of 1999-2002.

Elisa Corporation has paid a one-time compensation of EUR 1.6
million to Saunalahti.
