ELISA CORPORATION TO OUTSOURCE ORDER HANDLING AND INVOICING OPERATIONS TO BARONA
OY

Elisa and Henkilöstövuokraus Barona Oy have entered into an agreement on 16
February on outsourcing part of Elisa's operations connected to order handling
and invoicing. This responsibility will transfer to Barona on 1 March 2006.

Outsourcing is connected to the order handling and invoicing of Elisa's private
customers, as well as order handling for operators. Development, training and
expert tasks concerning these operations will continue to be the responsibility
of Elisa. In connection with the outsourcing, 119 employees will transfer from
Elisa to Barona as continuing employees. Regionally, 67 employees will transfer
from the Joensuu office, 26 from the Helsinki office, 12 from the Tampere office,
and 14 from the Jyväskylä office. The employees will continue to work at Elisa's
premises for the time being.

The outsourcing of operations is a part of Elisa's efficiency programme for the
period 2005-2007.

"Elisa will concentrate on handling and developing customer relationships with
its own personnel. The mass order procedures and invoicing supporting them will
be bought from a professional service provider in future," says Elisa Service
Manager Liisa Hakoinen.

"We selected the domestic, nationally operating Barona as our partner in order
handling and invoicing, because the company is specialised in flexible mass
handling of orders and invoices, and recruitment," states Elisa Department
Manager Ari Kuusisto.

Henkilöstövuokraus Barona Oy is a Finnish recruitment service company that
employs annually more than 3,000 people in five different business sectors. In
the outsourcing of personnel from the customer company Barona takes
responsibility for salary payment, flexibility of resources, working efficiency,
and the recruitment of new employees for the outsourced personnel. The personnel
will work under Barona's management at the premises of the customer company,
using the tools of the customer company.
