ELISA HAS ACQUIRED THE ENTIRE SHARE CAPITAL OF FINNET
INTERNATIONAL LTD

Through a deal concluded on 14 June 2004 by Elisa Corporation, the
Elisa group's holding in its subsidiary Finnet International Ltd,
a provider of international telecommunication services, increased
from 59 per cent to 100 per cent. The selling parties were
minority shareholders, which comprise local telcos from the Finnet
Group. The purchase price of the shares was EUR 6.5 million.

Oy Finnet International Ab is a telecommunications operator and
part of Elisa Group. The company offers international data
communication services to private and corporate customers in
Finland and abroad. It also provides services to operator
customers. Products offered to corporate customers are
international data services and international 999 calls; to
consumers, Finnet International offers international 999 calls.
