Elisa issued a EUR 300 million Eurobond


Elisa has today issued and priced new Eurobond maturing in 2027. The bond is issued under Elisa’s EUR 1.5 billion EMTN (Euro Medium Term Note) programme. 

The amount of the new bond is EUR 300 million and its reoffer interest rate is equivalent to 7 year Euro midswap rate -0.358% +68 basis points. The Interest coupon is 0.25% and issue price is 99.502. The bonds will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

The Joint Bookrunners for the bond issue are Danske Bank A/S, Nordea Bank Abp, OP Corporate Bank plc and Swedbank AB (publ).

This allowed us to maintain tight pricing. With this transaction, we proactively manage the coming repayments, decrease interest expenses and lengthen the average maturity”, says Elisa’s CFO, Jari Kinnunen.
