ELISA OUTSOURCES FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION PROCESSES TO PRETAX

On 13 June 2006, Elisa and the Pretax Group (Pretax BSP Oy) signed a letter of
intent concerning the outsourcing of external accounting processes related to
Elisa's financial administration to Pretax.

The outsourcing applies among other things to Elisa's and Saunalahti Group's
accountancy, fixed assets accounting, purchase invoices, travel invoices and
accounts of expenses and outgoing payment traffic processes, which are currently
managed by Elisa's financial service centre. The agreement also includes the
transfer of approximately 35 Elisa employees to Pretax as established employees
as of 1 September 2006.

The current outsourcing agreement is part of Elisa's streamlining programme for
2005-2007. In terms of development of activities and cost-efficiency, outsourcing
transaction-based financial administration processes is the best solution,
enhancing the competitiveness of Elisa's business.
