ELISA'S BID TO TIKKA SHAREHOLDERS CONTINUES

The acceptance period in accordance with the terms and conditions of the bid
targeted at Tikka Communications Oy's shareholders would end on 30 September
2005. Elisa has decided to continue the term of the bid until 31 October 2005.
As a result of the bid, the Elisa group's holding in Tikka Communications had by
26 September 2005 increased to 95.7 per cent.
