ELISA CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 1 APRIL 2005 AT 11.00am

ELISA SELLS REAL ESTATES TO KAPITEELI

Elisa Corporation and Kapiteeli Plc have today signed an agreement whereby Elisa
sells the office and telecom premises located at Näsilinnankatu 39-43, Tampere
and the office and business premises at Hallituskatu 8, Tampere to Kapiteeli.
Elisa's former office and telecom premises at Pieni Roobertinkatu 9, Helsinki are
also included in the transaction.

The selling price totals EUR 19.2 million, of which EUR 8 million is booked as
capital gain. The transaction will be booked during the second quarter of 2005.

Elisa continues the management of the telecom premises located in the real
estates with a long-term lease agreement, as well as the management of the office
premises located at the Näsilinnankatu real estate.
