ELISA SELLS REAL ESTATES TO SPONDA

Elisa Corporation and Sponda Plc today signed an agreement whereby Elisa sells
the real estates located at Korkeavuorenkatu 35 and 37 as well as at Kasarmikatu
36 to Sponda. The selling price totals EUR 25.5 million, of which EUR 13 million
is booked as capital gain. The transaction will be booked during the last quarter
2004.

Elisa continues the management of the telecom premises located in the real
estates with a long-term lease agreement. Elisa Corporation transferred its
headquarters from the real estates to be divested to Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki in
autumn 2003.

The apartment buildings at Korkeavuorenkatu 31-33 do not include in the
transaction. The total square area of apartments is approximately 2,700 m².
