ELISA SELLS THE ENTIRE SHARE CAPITAL OF YOMI SOFTWARE TO SYSOPEN DIGIA

Elisa Corporation has sold the entire share capital of Yomi Software Ltd, 100 per
cent owned by Elisa, to Sysopen Digia Plc. Elisa has defined Yomi's IT business
as a non-core business. The deal is in line with Elisa's structural streamlining
and releases capital tied up in business not defined as Elisa's core business.

The sales price is EUR 12.1 million and will be paid in cash. In addition, Elisa
will be released of EUR 1,5 million liabilities.  Elisa will enter approximately
EUR 6 million sales profit for the deal in the Q1 result. Yomi Software's revenue
for 2004 was EUR 16.8 million and EBIT EUR -0.5 million. The number of personnel
transferred in the deal is 270.
