ELISA SIGNED EUR 170 MILLION REVOLVING CREDIT FACILITY

Elisa signed in a five year EUR 170 million revolving credit
facility today. The facility was oversubscribed from its initial 
launchamount of EUR 150 million and subsequently increased to 
EUR 170 million.

The facility is for general corporate purposes and it replaces
comparable arrangement signed in November 1998.

The Mandated Lead Arrangers are Nordea and Sampo Bank plc. Co-
Arrangers are Danske Bank, OKO Osuuspankkien Keskuspankki Oyj and
Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (publ). Senior Lead Managers are
Handelsbanken AB (publ), HSH Nordbank AG and JPMorgan Chase Bank.
