JARI KINNUNEN APPOINTED ELISA CORPORATION'S NEW CFO

Jari Kinnunen, MSc Econ (43), has been appointed as Elisa Corporation's new Chief
Financial Officer with effect from 1 December 2005. Mr Kinnunen is currently
working as Elisa's Vice President, Business Development. He previously held the
positions of President and CEO at Yomi Plc and Chief Financial Officer at Elisa
Kommunikation GmbH in Germany. The present CFO, Tuija Soanjärvi, is moving to
another company.
