KEIJO SUILA CONTINUES AS THE CHAIRMAN OF ELISA CORPORATION’S 
BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors, elected by the Annual General Meeting of
Elisa Corporation on 4 April 2003, has held its organizing meeting
today. Keijo Suila was re-elected the Chairman of the Board and
Ossi Virolainen continues as the Deputy Chairman.

The Board of Directors has established a separate Committee for
Compensation evaluation and Appointments. The members of this
Committee are Keijo Suila (Chairman) and Mika Ihamuotila and Pekka
Ketonen. Additionally, the Board of Directors established a
separate Committee for Auditing, the members of which are Ossi
Virolainen (Chairman), Matti Aura and Jere Lahti.

The new CEO and President, Veli-Matti Mattila, will start working
at Elisa on 1 May and he will take up his duties as the company´s
President and CEO as of 1 July 2003, as announced previously.
