NOTICE PURSUANT TO THE FINNISH SECURITIES MARKET ACT, CHAPTER 2, SECTION 10

We hereby announce that Elisa Oyj has been notified, in accordance with Chapter
2, Section 9 of the Finnish Securities Market Act, of a change in the company's
ownership.

Novator Finland Oy's ownership of Elisa Oyj's votes and share capital has risen
over one-tenth (1/10). Novator has announced that By the completion of the Tender
Offer and taking into account further consolidation within the Novator Group (and
including previous shareholding in Elisa), Novator Finland Oy's holding of the
share capital in Elisa will increase to approximately 10.1 percent and voting
rights to approximately 10.1 percent.
