RADIOLINJA STREAMLINES ITS OPERATIONS ?
ELISA CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE

RADIOLINJA STREAMLINES ITS OPERATIONS EMPLOYEE
NEGOTIATIONS WILL ALSO BE INITIATED
Elisa Corporations subsidiary, Radiolinja will initiate
measures within its group to streamline operations and cut
costs to adapt to the tightening market situation.
As part of the enhancement of operations, discussions
conforming to the employee negotiation procedure will be
initiated. The aim of these negotiations is to reduce the
number of personnel by about 250 man-years. The employee
negations concern the entire personnel and all units of the
Radiolinja group.
According to Radiolinja, the market situation has clearly
intensified lately. The increase in mobile communications
will not necessarily suffice to cover the losses occurred by
the lower tariffs. Cost cutting is therefore unavoidable for
business operations though customer services will also
maintain their high standard in the future.
