REDEMPTION PRICE FOR SAUNALAHTI GROUP OYJ'S MINORITY SHARES EUR 2.56 PER SHARE

A court of arbitration appointed by the Central Chamber of Commerce decided on 16
May 2006 to set the redemption price of Elisa Corporation's subsidiary Saunalahti
Group Oyj at EUR 2.56 per share. There are some 3.83 million shares in total to
be redeemed and thus the final redemption price will be approximately EUR 9.8
million.

The redemption price and the 5.75 per cent interest calculated from 28 March 2006
will be paid within three months of the decision, unless the parties appeal to
the local court within two months.
