ELISA CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 31 MAY 2005 AT 6.59pm
SALE OF COMPTEL SHARES
Elisa offered today to the investors who purchased the Comptel shares on
30.5.2005 a possibility to cancel the deal in its entirely or to keep the shares
purchased so that the purchase price is EUR 1,59 per share.
All the offered 40,946,000 Comptel Corporation shares were sold to institutional
investors on the Helsinki Stock Exchange for a EUR 1,59 share price. Due to the
cancellation of approximately 11.8 million shares these shares were re-allocated.
After the sale Elisa´s ownership of Comptel is 19.9. per sent.
The sales price was EUR 65.1 million, and Elisa will book approximately a EUR
40 million tax-free capital gain on the sale.
