SHARE REPURCHASES COMPLETED

The share repurchases announced by Elisa on 20th October 2006 have been
completed. Elisa has purchased through Helsinki Stock Exchange during 27.10 -
4.12.2006 4.000.000 Elisa shares. Average price per share was approximately 19,85
euros and total purchase price approximately 79.4 million euros.

After the purchases Elisa holds 4.000.000 own shares. In addition Elisa's
subsidiary Lounet Oy holds 125.000 Elisa shares.
