VELI-MATTI MATTILA TAKES UP HIS DUTIES AS ELISA GROUP’S CEO

In accordance with a decision made earlier by the Board of
Directors, Veli-Matti Mattila, MSc (Eng.), MBA, assumes his duties
as President and CEO of the Elisa Corporation on 1 July 2003.  The
change of Chief Executive Officer has been entered in the Trade
Register.
