YOMI PLC’S FINANCIAL STATEMENTS 2002 - IT-OPERATIONS BOOSTED

Yomi Plc, a Group company of Elisa Communications Corporation,
strengthens its IT-operations. The Yomi Group, that is undergoing
a major structural change, reports a profitable result for 2002.
Consolidated net sales were EUR 57.9 million (EUR 57.8 million).
Operating profit was EUR 3.9 million (EUR 9.6 million). The
operational result for the fiscal year, excluding one-time items
and depreciation on goodwill, was profitable. The strong
development input on boosting IT-operations in line with the
corporate strategy continued. Decisions regarding the division of
work and business structuring between Yomi and Elisa are scheduled
for 2003.

The continued focusing of the company`s activities to the
crossroads of information technology and telecommunications
continues. Yomi has announced its intention to carry out major

acquisitions for the purpose of expanding its software
applications sector and boost its applications based ICT-Services
in Finland. Upon implementation this action will expand Yomi`s IT-
business by tens of percents.
