YOMI PLC’S FINANCIAL STATEMENTS 2003

Yomi Plc, a Group company of Elisa Corporation has today given out
a stock exchange release regarding its financial statements for
2003. Highlights of the statement are:

Yomi’s net sales were EUR 56.3 million in 2003. The operating
profit was EUR 0.5 million. The comparable figures for ongoing
business operations in 2002 were EUR 54.6 million and EUR –2.7
million. Net sales grew by 3.1 per cent and operating profit by
119.3 per cent from the comparable figures the year before. In
2003 income before amortization on goodwill was EUR 2.2 million
and net income EUR 0.2 million.

The improved business focus and the new mode of operations were
clearly reflected in the results of the Group especially towards
the end of the fiscal year. In the challenging business climate
the earnings development was turned around in the last half of
2003. The improved performance of Yomi Software was particularly
positive in a market that was still characterized by uncertainty.
The Telecom Solutions and Operator Solutions business areas
together produced a positive result for the whole year 2003 and
their order books at yearend were clearly better than a year ago.
The Enterprise Solutions business area improved the focus of its
operations and streamlined its organization. This is expected to
show in improved earnings in 2004. The stable development in Yomi
Telecom continued despite the uncertainty that still marked the
business sector. In comparable figures net sales grew and earnings
improved in comparison with the year before.

Yomi starts up the new fiscal year 2004 from a good position and
with a better order book that the year before. In 2004
consolidated net sales are expected to show modest growth while
the operating profit is expected to improve significantly over
that of 2003.
