YOMI PLC’S INTERIM REPORT FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY-JUNE 2004

Elisa Corporation's subsidiary Yomi Plc has today reported the
following on the company´s first two quarters 2004:

NET SALES GREW AND RESULTS IMPROVED

The favorable earnings development of Yomi Plc from the beginning
of the year continued in the second quarter. Net sales in January-
June were 30.0 Meur (2003: 27.4 Meur) and operating profit 0.9
Meur (-1.1 Meur). Operating profit before depreciation on goodwill
and one-time items was 2.3 Meur as compared with –0.2 Meur last
year. The Extraordinary General Meeting on 27.5.2004 approved the
merger plan according to which Yomi Plc will merge with Elisa
Corporation. The planned registration date for the merger is
31.12.2004.

OUTLOOK

Based on the development of net sales and results in the first
half of 2004 Yomi estimates, in line with earlier disclosures,
that net sales will grow modestly and operating profit improve
significantly in 2004 in comparison with the previous fiscal year.
