YOMI PLC’S INTERIM REPORT FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY-SEPTEMBER 2004

Elisa Corporation's subsidiary Yomi Plc has today reported the following 
on the company´s first three quarters 2004: 

YOMI RECORDS STRONG QUARTER

The favorable development of the Yomi Group continued and picked up pace 
in the third quarter of 2004. Consolidated net sales in January-September 
were EUR 44.0 million (EUR 40.9 million) and operating profit EUR 1.7 million 
(EUR –0.9 million). Operating profit before depreciation on goodwill was 
EUR 2.9 million (EUR 0.4 million). The operating profit includes EUR 0.6 million 
in one-time expenses related to the Yomi Plc and Elisa Corporation merger. 
Operating profit before depreciation on goodwill and merger expenses was 
EUR 3.5 million. The favorable earnings development is expected to continue 
in the last quarter of the year. 

The development both in Telecom and Software business areas was favorable in 
the third quarter of the fiscal year. In Telecom operations cooperation between 
Yomi and Elisa intensified and joint resources were focused i.e. on developing 
contact center activities and network projects also outside Central Finland. 
In Software operations new important client relationships were established as 
plans for fully independent operations in Yomi Software Ltd proceeded in line 
with the merger plan.
