YOMI PLC'S MERGER INTO ELISA CORPORATION RECORDED IN TRADE REGISTER

Yomi Plc's merger into Elisa Corporation was recorded in the Trade Register on 31
December 2004. Elisa Corporation's new shares issued as merger consideration have
been entered in the shareholders' book-entry accounts.


Trading with the new shares (3,977,352 shares) issued as Elisa's merger
consideration will commence on 3 January 2005.


After the merger, Elisa Corporation's share capital amounts to EUR 70,994,554.50,
and it is divided into 141,989,109 shares in total. The nominal value of each
share is 0.50 euro. The trading symbol is ELIAV.
