YOMI'S MERGER INTO ELISA INTO EFFECT ON 31 DECEMBER 2004

Yomi Plc's merger into Elisa Corporation will go into effect and its
implementation will be registered on 31 December 2004. Elisa's new shares
(3.977.352 shares) to be issued as merger consideration will be in Yomi
shareholders' book-entry accounts on 31 December 2004, and the new shares of the
same class as those Elisa shares listed on the Exchange will be traded on the
main list of the Helsinki Stock Exchange from 3 January 2005. The cash
consideration received from the disposal of the fractions of the merger
consideration will be paid by 11 January 2005 to the bank accounts of those
entitled to the consideration.

The Offering Circular and Merger Prospectus dated on 12 May 2004 and Elisa's and
Yomi's stock exchange releases issued after 12 May 2004 are available at OMX Gate
(Fabianinkatu 14, Helsinki) and at the head offices of Elisa (Kutomotie 18,
Helsinki) and Yomi (Piippukatu 11, Jyväskylä).
