Elkem ASA – Elkem rated in top 1% on sustainability by EcoVadis
Elkem has been awarded the Platinum rating on sustainability transparency from EcoVadis, one of the world’s largest and most trusted providers of business sustainability ratings. This positions Elkem among the top 1% of the companies evaluated worldwide.

The Platinum rating for 2022 is an upgrade from Elkem’s Gold rating in 2021. Elkem is rated as outstanding on the environment, advanced on ethics and sustainable procurement and good on labour and human rights. This rates the company as above industry average on all indicators.
Elkem will publish its annual report for 2021 – including its ESG report – on 16 March 2022.
In December 2021, Elkem launched its first TCFD report as an initiative to address the potential financial impact of climate risks and opportunities. Elkem also received a new, strong score of A- from CDP substantiating Elkem’s work as a global leader on climate change action.
In October 2021, the company launched its first global climate roadmap, aiming to reduce emissions towards net zero while growing supplies to the green transition.
