Göran Hägglund, Anna Belfrage and Michael McNicholas join Ellevio's board of Directors

Three new Directors join the board of Directors of Ellevio. It's the former politician and party leader Göran Hägglund, the economist Anna Belfrage and Michael McNicholas from OMERS Infrastructure.

Göran Hägglund has a long political career behind him. He was party leader for the Christian Democrats for 11 years, sat in the Swedish Parliament for 24 years and was also Minister of Social Affairs between 2006 and 2014. Today he is the Chairman of the board of Feelgood Svenska, Samtrafiken in Sweden and holds board positions in the Postkodföreningen and Frisq Holding, among others.

Anna Belfrage currently sits on a number of boards of listed companies, such as Mycronic, NOTE and Serneke. Until this spring she worked as CFO at Södra Skogsägarna and has previously been active in various roles in the industrial sector, including as CFO and acting CEO at Beijer Electronics as well as CFO at ABS Group.

Michael McNicholas joined earlier this year OMERS Infrastructure as Managing Director with a focus on energy and water infrastructure. He has more than 35 years of experience in various management positions in the infrastructure and technology area, both in the private and in the public sector. Prior to joining OMERS, he worked as Managing Director of Ervia, responsible for gas and water infrastructure in Ireland.

Following the change, Ellevio's Board of Directors will consist of:
