Reminder - Press Invitation to Elmia Wood 2013, 5–8 June
Welcome to the cradle of forest technology and innovation!
The forestry world’s biggest meeting place, Elmia Wood, is happening again this year. It is important for our exhibitors and for us that you report on what is being presented at Elmia Wood 2013. We therefore want to provide the best conditions for you so you can do a good job.

Focus on innovation
This year we are highlighting an aspect of Elmia Wood that in the fair’s 38-year history has made the greatest impact on the forestry world. That is, as a showcase and catalyst for all the innovators and new products that over the years have helped to develop both the machines and methods of modern forestry. Every time Elmia Wood has been held, new ideas have seen their first light of day here and 2013 will be no exception.
On 4 and 5 June you will have the opportunity to participate in our pre-fair excursions on the themes of Bioenergy and CTL-Logging, starting either at Kastrup Airport, Copenhagen or Arlanda Airport, Stockholm, and finishing in Jönköping. On 5 June we are holding a bioenergy conference in Jönköping with a focus on forest biomass. As an accredited journalist you can participate free of charge (dinner optional) but you must register via our online conference form!
“Destination Jönköping” will help with your accommodation
To facilitate your participation as a trade press journalist during Elmia Wood 2013, we will provide you with shuttle bus service to and from the fairgrounds (time table and routes available on the web), admission to the fairgrounds, and access to a well-equipped press centre with Internet and refreshments. If you need assistance with the booking of your accommodation, please state this on your online press accreditation form and the agency at “Destination Jönköping” will help you to make your hotel booking.
N.B.! Please fill in the accreditation form on our web page as soon as possible because the number of hotel rooms is limited. We will book accommodation in the order in which we receive registrations.
The last date for pre-accreditation is 25 May.
