EOC'S CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER TO RETIRE FROM POSITION WEF 19 SEPTEMBER 2010

EOC Limited (EOC or the Group) wishes to announce that Mr. Phillipus Geerling has informed the Company that he will retire from his position as Chief Operations Officer upon the expiry of his employment contract on 19th September 2010.

The Company is also pleased to announce that with effect from 1st October 2010, Mr. Asle Bjørnstad, who is currently a director of an affiliated company, will be appointed as its COO during the interim period until a suitable successor is found.

Under Mr. Geerling’s leadership, EOC set up the new construction and Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) business divisions. During his 3-year tenure as COO of the Company, Mr. Geerling played a key role in business development, the formation of strategic partnerships and the implementation of the Group’s strategic goals.

Mr. Geerling leaves behind a strong and successful organization well-positioned for further growth in both the FPSO and offshore construction and accommodation markets.

Mr. Bjørnstad, who has 22 years of experience in the offshore oil & gas sector, brings with him a wealth of commercial and project management expertise, especially in the FPSO sector. He has held various senior managerial positions in business development, project management and marketing in companies such as Aker Engineering A.S and Fred Olsen Production A.S. With his impeccable track record, EOC is confident that Mr Bjørnstad will be a great asset to the Group’s executive management team.
