Ossur announces  the results  of the  third quarter  2008 before  the
opening of the markets on Tuesday 28 October.

On Tuesday 28 October 2008   at 12:00 GMT/13:00 CET  Jon  Sigurdsson,
President and CEO, and Hjorleifur  Palsson, CFO, will host a  meeting
presenting and  discussing  the  results of  the  third  quarter  for
investors, analysts and  shareholders. The meeting  will be at  Grand
Hotel Reykjavik and will be conducted in English.
