Össur started to build up the manufacturing unit in September 2010 and has since then transferred manufacturing of spinal products from the US to Mexico. The transfer has been efficient and the manufacturing quality excellent. The focus in Mexico will be on manufacturing of bracing and supports products and by the end of the year, all bracing and supports currently manufactured in the US will have been transferred to Mexico.
