Össur signs agreement to purchase Pi Medical and Karlsson & Bergström of Sweden

Össur has signed an agreement to purchase all the shares in the Swedish companies Pi Medical and Karlsson & Bergström. Payment will be in the form of 6.9 million shares in Össur over the coming three years, of which 4.7 million shares were paid on signature. An equity offering in Össur to meet this first payment has already been made. <br>

The purchase agreement was signed in Stockholm by Jón Sigurdsson, President of Össur, on behalf of Össur, Yvonne Meyer on behalf of Pi Medical and Jonas Bergström on behalf of Karlsson & Bergström. <br>
<br>
Formal cooperation between these companies commences immediately on signature of the purchase agreement. The Swedish companies will be merged under the name Össur Nordic AB as of next year and the new company’s headquarters will be in Uppsala, Sweden.  <br>
