Håkan Östling becomes Venture Partner of Emerging Technologies Håkan Östling, Executive Vice President and Partner of Emerging Technolo- gies, becomes Venture Partner to the company with effect from 1 October, 2000. In his new role, Håkan Östling will advise Emerging Technologies on strategic and financial matters and will be responsible for overlooking the Company's efforts in Karlskrona/Ronneby, including representing Emerg- ing Technologies in TelecomCity. "We are very pleased to have struck an agreement with Håkan Östling. Go- ing forward, this will secure access to Håkan Östling's unique competence and strong network he has built during his time as leading stock analyst with Goldman Sachs in London, though we regret that we could not tie Håkan Östling to Emerging Technologies full time", says Peter Sandberg, CEO of Emerging Technologies. Håkan Östling will join Danske Securities as Global Head of Research. In his new role he will assume management responsibility for the bank's equity research department.
